Realizing Your Vision

At Raudel's Tile and Granite, our expertise extends beyond tile installation to include the meticulous fabrication and installation of granite surfaces, such as countertops, vanities, tabletops, and more. Here's a detailed look at our process for working with granite:

  1. Design Consultation and Material Selection: The process begins with a detailed consultation to understand the client's vision and functional needs for their space. We guide our clients through selecting the perfect piece of granite, taking into account color, pattern, and the specific properties of different granite slabs that make them suitable for various applications.

  2. Measurements and Templates: Precision is key in creating a perfect granite surface. Our team takes accurate measurements of the installation area to ensure the granite is cut and shaped precisely to fit. We often use templates, which are exact outlines of the required granite pieces, to guarantee a flawless fit around any fixtures, sinks, or appliances.

  3. Fabrication: With the measurements and templates in hand, we move to the fabrication phase. This involves cutting the granite slab to the specific dimensions needed using specialized saws that ensure smooth, clean cuts. Edges are then shaped and polished according to the client's preference, ranging from simple bevels to more intricate profiles like ogee or waterfall edges.

  4. Finishing Touches: Once cut and shaped, the granite surfaces undergo a series of finishing processes. This includes polishing the granite to achieve a high gloss or honed finish, depending on the desired aesthetic. We also apply sealants to the granite to protect its porous surface from staining and to enhance its durability.

  5. Installation: Installing granite requires skill and precision to ensure a seamless fit and finish. Our team carefully transports and installs the fabricated granite pieces, securing them in place and ensuring that they are perfectly level and aligned. For countertops and vanities, this step includes making precise cutouts for sinks or fixtures and ensuring that the granite is securely attached to the cabinetry below.

  6. Final Inspection and Cleaning: The final step in our process is a thorough inspection of the installed granite surfaces to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. We also clean the granite, removing any dust or residue from the installation process, and provide our clients with care instructions to maintain the beauty and longevity of their granite surfaces.

Throughout this entire process, we maintain open lines of communication with our clients, ensuring their vision is realized to the fullest and that any concerns are promptly addressed. Our commitment to excellence at Raudel's Tile and Granite ensures that our clients receive beautiful, durable granite surfaces that enhance the value and aesthetic of their spaces.
