Ensuring Client Satisfaction

At Raudel's Tile and Granite, the process of installing tiles, whether they be ceramic, porcelain, glass, mosaic, or natural stone, on floors, walls, backsplashes, showers, or other designated areas, is carried out with meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship. Here's an overview of how we approach the tile installation process:

  1. Consultation and Design: Initially, we engage with our clients to understand their vision, preferences, and the specific requirements of their space. This step involves selecting the right type of tile that suits the aesthetic and functional needs of the area being tiled.

  2. Site Preparation: Before any tiles are laid, we thoroughly prepare the surface. This might involve cleaning, leveling, or repairing the substrate to ensure a smooth and stable foundation for the tiles. For areas prone to moisture, such as showers, we also implement waterproofing measures to protect the integrity of the installation.

  3. Layout Planning: To ensure a visually pleasing arrangement, we meticulously plan the layout of the tiles. This involves measuring the area and determining the most effective pattern and orientation of the tiles, considering factors such as tile size, room dimensions, and focal points.

  4. Cutting and Fitting: Tiles often need to be cut to fit around obstacles or to fill smaller spaces near walls and fixtures. At Raudel's Tile and Granite, we use precise cutting tools to customize tiles as needed, ensuring a tight, professional fit.

  5. Adhesive Application: We apply a suitable adhesive, chosen based on the type of tile and the surface it's being applied to. The adhesive is spread evenly to avoid lippage (variation in height between adjacent tiles) and to secure the tiles firmly in place.

  6. Tile Installation: Starting from the designated focal point or along a guideline, we carefully place each tile, ensuring it's level and aligned with adjacent tiles. Spacers are used to maintain uniform grout lines throughout the installation.

  7. Grouting: Once the adhesive has set and the tiles are firmly in place, we apply grout between the tiles. The grout not only completes the look of the tile installation but also seals the spaces between tiles to prevent moisture and debris from penetrating underneath.

  8. Sealing and Finishing: Depending on the type of tile and grout used, a sealant may be applied to protect the surface against staining and moisture. The final step involves cleaning the tiled surface and reviewing the installation to ensure it meets our high standards of quality.

Throughout the entire process, Raudel's Tile and Granite prioritizes communication with our clients to ensure their satisfaction and to make any adjustments as needed. Our goal is to deliver exceptional results that enhance the beauty and functionality of our clients' spaces.
